Dr. Hansen was First Mayor of the city of Konstanz from 1981 to 1997. He is a long-standing member of various supervisory boards and was a Swiss financial intermediary member of the VQF (Association for the Quality Assurance of Financial Services) from 2007 to 2015.
Since 2009, Dr. Hansen works as a speaker for the EMBA courses at the University of St. Gallen for German labor law. Dr. Hansen was admitted to the bar in Switzerland for 15 years. Dr. Hansen specializes in cross-border legal issues between Switzerland and Germany. He is forensic and advisory in both Switzerland and Germany.
